Using this simple video editing tool that’s fully integrated on YouTube, small businesses with little time or resources can develop and post professional-quality ads online to use with Google’s Adwords for Video and share on any social network.
Since Google research has shown companies that effectively leverage video can expect better customer engagement and retention—online video boosts brand recall by 50 percent and likeability by 26 percent—“My Business Story” is a great way to bring the “shop small” movement to life beyond the American Express TV campaign while generating consumer awareness, engagement and offline participation. The program was very well received by small business owners, who were proud to participate and pleased to see the altruistic nature of the Google and American Express partnership.
